In the Studio: Time

Time. When you have a lot of control over it, it's awesome and a burden. Awesome because you can use it however you want whenever you want, and a burden because when you are starting a new venture you want to use every second you have as responsibly and profitably as you can.
So time management becomes very important, which becomes even more important when the work you're doing takes place in a studio, which as it happens, is located in your living space - it's easy to be distracted. Plus you have to learn how to be patient and not feel you're wasting time as you plow through a newly acquired skill set. You have to continually remind yourself that some things just take time to figure out, and need time to work through. If you push it too hard, nothing good comes of it, and sometimes you just need to step back, take a breath and then push on.
You learn a lot about time after spending a year working towards a very specific goal, which by the way, will appear on the website we're putting together that'll feature the artwork we've been spending all that time on creating.

I'm excited to see your work. Can't wait.
The summer is going to fly by, what with the big reveal scheduled for September. Yikes!
